Vifty Privacy Policy

  1. The document below outlines specific means and procedures used by which VIFTY, a Wyoming Corporation, gathers, processes and stores Personally Identifiable Information of USERS. Personally Identifiable Information, as used in this Privacy Policy, means any information that may be used to identify a USER, such as: First and last name, age, and gender, postal address, email address, telephone number, and other contact.

By accessing the App, taking advantage of its content, browsing through the data and providing any personally identifiable information whether through a method intended for input of such information or not, the USER agrees to be bound by its terms. This Policy may change at any time, without notice.

  1. The Parties understand that VIFTY may process some personally identifiable information, either provided manually by the USER at his discretion, automatically sent and collected by the APP server and other servers, or submitted by third party applications operating with VIFTY’s and the USERS’ permission. The purposes for which a USER may come in contact with another USER’S personally identifiable information are as follows:
  • To offer the USER a quote for services offered by a VIFTY Service Provider USERS understand and agree that this is a one-time submission to initiate contact, and while VIFTY may collect and store USER personally identifiable information based on further interaction and the USER’s expressed interest in other products or services, VIFTY will not process the USER’s personally identifiable information collected in this manner for any other purpose.
  • To facilitate payment processing through a payment processor.
  • To allow USER participation in an App, for the purpose of facilitating contact between a Customer and a Service Provider about VIFTY’S services in which they have expressed interest by creating a VIFTY account.
  • To provide USERS who had obtained a service with information regarding work quality, scheduling, performance, encountered problems, delays or maintenance or follow up steps and to contact them for any purpose relating to efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • To deliver, provide or process payment for a product or service USER has requested.
  • To allow USERS to provide feedback.
  • To send a USER who has expressed interest to another USER, through emails or text messages about VIFTY Services.
  • To customize measure and improve VIFTY’S Services, content, and advertising, including generating internal reports about the use of the App
  • To personalize USER experience with the App.
  • To enforce Terms of Service.
  • For purposes disclosed at the time a USER provided personally identifiable information and;
  • As otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy.
  1. Types of information collected.

A USER may use the App to obtain a quote, an estimate, product or a service. To do so, a USER voluntarily provides Personal Information to VIFTY. Such personally identifiable information submitted includes name, address, email, phone or fax information and details regarding household, business and structure that is helpful to form an understanding the scope of work. In addition to any personally identifiable information or other information that a USER chooses to submit, VIFTY and third-party service providers employ a variety of technologies such as cookies, pixel tags and web beacons, browser analysis tools, and web server logs. VIFTY collects information from cookies and other technologies. The information from cookies and related technology is stored in web server logs and also in web cookies kept on a USER’s Device which are then transmitted back the Website/APP by a USER’s Device. These servers are operated and the cookies managed by VIFTY, our and VIFTY’S service providers.

  1. Access to information

VIFTY does not provide any self-service accounts, and none of the USER’s personally identifiable information is stored on the Website/APP. VIFTY will correct and remove in a reasonable manner and time any personally identifiable information that USER reports as outdated, inaccurate, inappropriate or that USER wishes to no longer share. VIFTY may retain some of that personally identifiable information for limited purpose of regular business reporting and bookkeeping. 

  1. Opt Out of USERs

Upon receiving notice from a USER who closes an Account VIFTY will cease using USER personally identifiable information for any purpose within 36 hours.

  1.      Safeguards of Information

VIFTY maintains reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of personally identifiable information transmitted to VIFTY. USER agrees not to provide any third party personally identifiable information or sensitive information without authorization. While VIFTY strives to protect USER personally identifiable information, to the extent permitted by law, VIFTY does not guarantee or warrant the security of any personally identifiable information the USER transmits to or from VIFTY’s APP/website. The USER understands that the USER does so at the USER’s own risk.

  1. No services are offered to children.

VIFTY does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from individuals under 18 years of age. Anyone under 18 years of age is not authorized to request a quote or provide personally identifiable information on the APP. If VIFTY obtains actual knowledge that a USER who has provided personally identifiable information is under 18 years of age, VIFTY will take steps to remove that USER’s personally identifiable information from VIFTY’S systems.

  1. TRACKING THIRD PARTY APPS

The USER acknowledges that the App utilizes one or more analytic services, including, but not limited to, Google Maps which may track devices to provide appointment updates. These services do not collect personally identifiable information that is not voluntarily entered into the Website by the USER. VIFTY uses the information collected by these service providers to improve the usability and other features of the App. USERs may choose to disable the ClickTale service at http://www.clicktale.net/disable.html.

The USER agrees that the USER has no right to privacy regarding the use of the GPS device to track the location of the USER’s telephone through the App, but in the event that a court, arbitrator, dispute resolution organization or state or federal authority should determine that such a right exists, the USER hereby waives such right to the fullest extent possible.

  1. USE OF CONTACT INFORMATION

The USER acknowledges that VIFTY will use the telephone numbers, addresses, email addresses and facsimile numbers that are submitted to VIFTY in connection with registering with VIFTY for the purpose of facilitating services between USERS only. VIFTY will not sell, trade, rent or share such information with any third parties except as required to facilitate the exchange of services between USERS and to process payment for those services. Contact information will be shared with the Customer and the Payment Processor only.
